Located at 419 Monroe St in Detroit, this restaurant was built to be a true American tavern. The goal has always been simple: create a warm place where people can meet, relax, and enjoy good food together. Opened in 2013 in the heart of Greektown, it quickly became a spot for lunch breaks, happy hour, late nights, and weekend fun. Locals and visitors found a space that felt friendly, lively, and easy to enjoy.
History Restored With Care
The Detroit location lives inside a building from the early 1880s. Over the years, 419 Monroe Street has been many things, including a saloon, a café, and a small neighborhood shop. When it was restored, the original brick walls and woodwork were kept to honor the past. Modern updates were added to make guests comfortable today. Bringing this old space back to life helped return it to its original purpose as a gathering place.
Same Heart, New Location
In 2023, a second location opened at 4845 Rochester Rd in Troy. This new spot was created to build on the spirit of the downtown Detroit restaurant. The Troy location offers the same welcoming feel, great American food, and a relaxed place to meet with friends. It is designed for lunch, dinner, late nights, and game days. The mission stays the same: give every guest a place that feels fun, easy, and inviting.
